Implementation of the Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud

The ROEMHELD Group produces clamping technology solutions for workpieces and tools in forming technology and plastics processing under the three brand names Römheld, Stark and Hilma. The product portfolio is supplemented by components and systems for assembly and handling technology, drive technology and automation, as well as locking systems for wind turbine rotors. The Group consists of five companies located in Germany and Austria and is represented on all continents and in more than 50 countries by its subsidiaries and sales partners.

The initial situation

  • The business is characterized by standard and specialty products for specific applications
  • ERP-based processes for quoting exist for standard products, but a holistic view of global sales projects is missing
  • The goal in sales is therefore to obtain a 360° view of the end customer and to standardize the quotation process internationally

The solution

  • The ROEMHELD Group has strategically chosen Salesforce’s Sales and Experience Cloud with an ERP integration (PSIpenta). In addition, sales partners in individual regions were connected via the Experience Cloud
  • Establishment of an ETO and ATO sales process in the Sales Cloud
  • Through the Sales Cloud, opportunity, account and quoting processes are on one platform and provide automated tracking

The success

  • Field and office sales as well as product management now have the same view of customers and sales partners
  • Email-based internal processes were replaced
